Daily reporting will recommence then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>26\/02\/2024 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Great Northern Diver (x4)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Canada Goose (x9 early spring arrivals)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shelduck (the pair from earlier in the week still around Loch Eatharna)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>25\/02\/2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>White-fronted Goose (small flocks of x4, x12, x4 and x7)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Blue Tit <\/strong>(still frequenting the local mixed plantation) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mistle Thrush<\/strong> (a Coll rarity &#8211; I hope it sticks around and starts singing)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Redwing (x10)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>20\/02\/2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>White-fronted Goose (a small flock of 10 birds)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shelduck (x2 our first of the spring)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>White-tailed Eagle (a majestic adult bird)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sparrowhawk (daily this week around the village)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lesser Black-backed Gulls (x4 &#8211; new spring arrivals)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grey Herons (in the heronry)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Blue Tit <\/strong>(a singing bird &#8211; a real island rarity)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>19\/02\/2024 (we&#8217;re back on Coll but only for a week!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Whooper Swan (x3 on our local loch)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Greenland White-fronted Goose (flocks of 30 and 4 today) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skylark (strong passage today &#8211; first arrivals were 21 Feb last year and 25 Feb in 2022)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re off island again now until April.
