  • Redwings (huge flocks all over the island – largest single count x350)

  • Mistle Thrush (x3 with Redwings – an island rarity)
  • Snow Buntings (a flock of 16 feeding avidly on Bell Heather seeds)

  • Rook (a stonking island record!)
  • Grey Seal (pup on beach – 3 adults in the sea close by)
  • Upright Hedge Parsley (the first modern record for the island!)

  • Song Thrush (significant movement evident)

  • Common Field Speedwell Veronica persica (at a new station, very few Coll records)

  • Long-tailed Tit (2 noisy birds together – first of the year)

  • Reed Bunting (a flock of 16 squabbling birds)
