- Shelduck (the pair from earlier in the week still around Loch Eatharna)

- White-fronted Goose (small flocks of x4, x12, x4 and x7)
- Blue Tit (still frequenting the local mixed plantation)
- Mistle Thrush (a Coll rarity – I hope it sticks around and starts singing)
- Redwing (x10)

- White-fronted Goose (a small flock of 10 birds)
- Shelduck (x2 our first of the spring)
- White-tailed Eagle (a majestic adult bird)
- Sparrowhawk (daily this week around the village)
- Lesser Black-backed Gulls (x4 – new spring arrivals)
- Grey Herons (in the heronry)
- Blue Tit (a singing bird – a real island rarity)
19/02/2024 (we’re back on Coll but only for a week!)
- Whooper Swan (x3 on our local loch)
- Greenland White-fronted Goose (flocks of 30 and 4 today)
- Skylark (strong passage today – first arrivals were 21 Feb last year and 25 Feb in 2022)
